Its success was immediate and enormous, being performed at La Scala and throughout Europe. The Requiem is an exercise full of force and vigor, requiring a large orchestra, four soloists, and a large choir. The Orquestra Simfònica de Barcelona i Nacional de Catalunya (OBC) and Orfeó Català, under the baton of Ludovic Morlot, put their talent at the service of this great piece at Barcelona's L'Auditori.
