The Lost Mirror. Jews and Converts in the Middle AgesExhibitions

Through a wide selection of works created by Christian artists in Spain between 1285 and 1492 portraying Jews and converts, the exhibition El espejo perdido. Judíos y conversos en la edad media (The Lost Mirror. Jews and Converts in the Middle Ages) offers an approach to the concept of “mirror”, that is, the image we create of ourselves. This exhibition features a large number of images that allow visitors to contemplate phenomena such as the visual stigmatization of Jews or the affirmation of Christian identity during this historical period.
