Palau de la Virreina presents 36 works taken from a corpus of almost 200 photographic paintings made since 1978 by the Canadian artist Jeff Wall. This dense and varied body of work is characterised by a strong sense of enigma. The exhibition includes a landscape from 1980 and a recent work from 2023, showing Wall's cinematic method. Other paintings belong to an intermediate, "almost documentary" register.
