Artist, writer and poet, Mari Chordà bases her life and work on image, language and social action. Her convictions forming the backbone of her work, Chordà creates imagery close to the visual sensibility of pop and psychedelia and was a pioneer of her generation, addressing issues such as sexual freedom, pleasure, motherhood and lesbian relationships. Her works, full of strength and vitality, cry out with full eroticism. Now MACBA is presenting a sample of her work and the feminist struggle that led her to milestones such as the laSal association, which subsequently gave rise to the first feminist publishing house in Spain.
