The Abbey of Montserrat is celebrating its 1000th anniversary with a unique performance of the Llibre vermell de Montserrat, a jewel of medieval Catalan music. The Escolania de Montserrat and the Esbart Dansaire de Rubí dance troupe, under the direction of Llorenç Castelló, will present a version that fuses music and movement, evoking the way these pieces could have been performed in front of the monastery in the 14th century.
