The Italian-born artist Adolf Fargnoli became a myth of Girona's Noucentista period, celebrated by critics, artists, and intellectuals. His wood carvings stood out for their magnificent chests with metal applications and silk-lined interiors. In 1932, fascinated by the aesthetics of Hollywood, he developed a line of women's jewelry that, unfortunately, was never realized.
