  Fernande Olivier Pablo Picasso and friends Museu Picasso

  Writer Fernande Olivier captured in her writings the life she shared with Picasso in a straightforward and honest way. As the first exhibition dedicated to Olivier in Spain, it offers a chance to get to know the Malaga-born genius a little better. Through unpublished documents and photographs, video testimonies, and several portraits signed by Fernande Olivier's circle of friends, we will trace the life and relationships of this feminine voice with Picasso.

  Penelope the Sea is Yours Museu Marítim de Barcelona

  Inspired by the myth of Homer's epic poem The Odyssey, in which Penelope showed her ingenuity and patience in delaying the choice of a new husband, the Maritime Museum of Barcelona offers an exhibition called Penelope, the Sea is Yours, which presents the experiences and challenges of six women linked to the world of sailing. They are Abril Marfà, a promising eleven-year-old who is not afraid of challenges; Natalia Via-Dufresne, a sailor with a long history of victories; Nora García, a world champion in Nacra 15 who dreams of an Olympic title Maria Torrijo, the first woman in the world to hold the titles of judge, referee and international regatta official; Andrea Emone, sailor and aerospace engineer with the Alinghi Red Bull Racing Team; and Ana Pujol, a multiple champion in skate sailing regattas. The exhibition will include activities designed to introduce children to the world of sailing.

  Adolf Fargnoli From Noucentisme to the avantgarde Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya

  The Italian-born artist Adolf Fargnoli became a myth of Girona's Noucentista period, celebrated by critics, artists, and intellectuals. His wood carvings stood out for their magnificent chests with metal applications and silk-lined interiors. In 1932, fascinated by the aesthetics of Hollywood, he developed a line of women's jewelry that, unfortunately, was never realized. Now, thanks to this exhibition programmed by the National Art Museum of Catalonia, visitors have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich history of this multifaceted artist.
