Carillon Concert - Palau de la Generalitat Christmas Time, Music

The carillon is a symbol of the Palau de la Generalitat, the palace that houses the Catalan Government, and its melody is played every day. On special occasions, the Carillon offers a very special repertoire. That is the case of the concerts held during the Christmas season, such as the concert held on 26th December, on the occasion of St. Stephen's Day. The Carillon of the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya was built in the Netherlands by Petit & Fritsen in 1976 and was restored in 1991.
