Art is having a birthday! In 2025, Barcelona's contemporary art museum, the MACBA, will be celebrating its 30th anniversary with exhibitions that will look back on its cultural impact. The Fundació Joan Miró will be commemorating its 50th anniversary with a special programme of exhibitions and events highlighting Joan Miró's artistic legacy. And the monastery of Montserrat will be marking 1,000 years since its foundation with commemorative events underlining its historical significance. And that's not all! Throughout the year, you'll be able to savour Catalonia as the World Region of Gastronomy with festivals and unique, yummy culinary experiences.

"Amazons. The Ancestral Future"

Delve into the cultural and natural riches of the Amazon at this impactful exhibition in the CCCB (Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona).

Cavalcada dels Reis (Three Kings' Parade)

We'll start off with the most magical night of the year. Enjoy the spectacle of the Three Kings' Parade that fills the streets of Barcelona with glittering lights, music and colour to captivate young and old alike.

Fun is guaranteed! Enjoy one of Catalonia's most traditional and authentic carnivals in the seaside town of Vilanova i la Geltrú, just a short train ride from Barcelona.

Explore the works of the famous abstract painter Sean Scully, who is known for his geometric compositions, at this unique retrospective at the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera.

Cirque du Soleil: "Corteo"

27th March – 6th April

The circus company that dreams the impossible returns to Barcelona. Come and enjoy this awe-inspiring, poetic, magical spectacle at the Palau Sant Jordi.
