Palau Martorell hosts the largest exhibition ever held in Spain dedicated to Fernando Botero, featuring over 110 works from private collections. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, and watercolours provide an insight into his artistic vision, characterised by monumental volumes and vibrant colours. Curated by Lina Botero and Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz, the exhibition highlights his remarkable technical and creative versatility.

Among the standout pieces, two previously unseen works are being showcased in Spain for the first time: a version of Las Meninas, which has always been displayed in his Parisian studio, and Homenaje a Mantegna, a recent discovery made through Christie's.

Organised by Palau Martorell and Arthemisia in collaboration with the Fernando Botero Foundation, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the world of a master of contemporary art.
