The exhibition Concerning landscape by the photographer José Guerrero, organized by the Fundació KBR MAPFRE, offers a journey through more than 20 years of the artist's career. Guerrero (Granada, 1979) sees the landscape as an active entity, full of history, culture and the collective imagination. Through his unique gaze, he seeks to strip away the idea that the landscape is something external and static, showing instead how regions and places are permeated by changes, solidarity and tensions that transform them.

The exhibition includes a selection of works organized into series that explore places with a strong symbolic and historical significance, such as La Mancha, Carrara, Sierra Nevada and the Thames. Throughout their journey, the spectator is invited to develop their own interpretation of the landscape, using their cultural memory and visual elements such as light, color and atmosphere.

The itinerary is organized as a narrative that oscillates between representation and experimentation, between light and darkness, and between transparency and opacity, inviting deep reflection on the relationship between human beings and space.
