The Vila Casas Foundation presents the Antoni Vila Casas Painting Prize 2025, a competition that, since its inception in 1998, has played a key role in promoting and disseminating contemporary creators. This year, the prize will be held at the Can Framis Museum in Barcelona, in a special edition that pays tribute to the legacy of its founder, Antoni Vila Casas, as it bears his name for the second consecutive year.

The prize, which rotates between the disciplines of painting, photography, and sculpture, has become a key platform for giving visibility to young art, while also expanding the foundation’s collection. The finalist works will be exhibited in the Espai A0 at the Can Framis Museum, where the jury will select the winning piece, to be announced on 22 September 2025 during the exhibition’s opening.

This event is an excellent opportunity to discover the most innovative and emerging proposals in the contemporary art scene, as well as to celebrate the evolution of art in the city of Barcelona.
