The ocean speaks. New ecologies and new economies of the seas - Disseny Hub Barcelona Exhibitions

The new exhibition at the Design Museum - Disseny Hub Barcelona examines the effects of human action on marine ecosystems and reflects on how the city can redesign its relationship with the sea through innovation. Through an interdisciplinary perspective, the exhibition approaches this theme from the perspectives of architecture, fashion, technology, speculative design and urbanism, posing new imaginaries to the great social challenges. Barcelona and its maritime history serve as a starting point to explore global conflicts in coastal communities, where 40% of humanity is concentrated.

The exhibition The ocean speaks. New ecologies and new economies of the seas, is part of the Cultural Regatta, the programme of activities that accompanies the celebration of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup in Barcelona.
