Oceans. From Renoir to Microplastics. With works by Mandy Barker - Museu Diocesà Exhibitions

Coinciding with the America's Cup, this exhibition at the Diocesan Museum brings together art and science to highlight marine pollution by plastics. Starting with the oil painting Pornic Beach (1892) by Renoir, which shows idyllic beaches, the exhibition contrasts with works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and the striking photographs of Mandy Barker, an artist known worldwide for using her art to raise awareness of the environmental impact of plastics.
