Suspending the sky. Mies van der Rohe Pavilion Exhibitions

The Brazilian artist Caio Reisewitz is known for his committed art and political activism. He now occupies the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion with native Brazilian plants in an installation that appeals to Brazil's urgent problems such as the destruction of the Amazon, the dismantling of public mechanisms responsible for protecting and valuing the environment or the cultural elimination and genocide of the native population. The title of the installation comes from the thoughts of activist shamans Davi Kopenawa and Ailton Krenak in favour of a more harmonious relationship with the earth, and the artist Caio Reisewitz underlines with it the message that nature is now our home. .
