Three family accommodation options
The verb "to sleep" is important in our everyday lives, but it is even more important when we're travelling as a family. After exploring the streets, rest is vital if you want to go back the following day with your batteries recharged to continue to discover everything a great city like Barcelona has to offer. That's why we suggest three different types of accommodation, and an example of each, which are perfect for you and your family to relax and have a rest.
They are all priced differently and offer different kinds of facilities… because every family is different. These are just three examples of the wide range of accommodation you'll find in Barcelona.
And, if you have baby with you, we also recommend Back Pack Baby at VisitBarcelona Tickets, a handy baby buggy-hire service so you can explore Barcelona at your convenience.
Now let's get back to the accommodation. The first is a quiet guesthouse, perfect for a family break, called PobleNouBed&Breakfast. As its name suggests, it is located in Poblenou, a family-friendly neighbourhood with a wide choice of bars, restaurants and children's play areas. It stands just 300 metres from the beach and is close to the Rambla de Poblenou, a boulevard that over the past few years has become a lively spot, brimming with positive energy. And if you have a pet with you, they're welcome here too. So nobody has to stay at home… everybody can set off for Barcelona!

Another highly recommended option is to rent an apartment in an apartahotel. They are the most practical solution if you want to do some shopping at one of and make your own meals, or you're a large family and can stay under the same roof. There are a lot of apartahotels in the city and Splendom Suites Barcelona is one of them. It is situated in the Eixample district and has a small play area for children in reception. It also offers a special family package including high chair, cot, kids' TV channels and toys.

And we couldn't miss hotels off our list. This is the classic, convenient option. It stands at 199, Avinguda Diagonal, opposite the amazing Glòries Tower.
