    One of the most popular Nordic skiing events in Spain is back. The Marxa Beret, organized by the General Council of Aran and the ski resort Baqueira Beret, has turned 44 editions. The event begins on Saturday February 1st with the Sprint Salomon, the Spanish Sprint Championship. On Sunday 2nd, the "marxa" (march) itself takes place, with three distances: 42, 21 and 10 km. The competition forms part of the FIS calendar, since it falls within the long-distance Spanish Cup.
