    The exhibition World Press Photo 2025 returns to the CCCB with its twenty-first edition, offering a selection of the photographs and multimedia productions that won the prestigious global photojournalism competition. This show presents works that are mostly unpublished in Spain, chosen for their quality and ability to offer a wide variety of perspectives on the most important current global events.

    The world's most renowned photojournalism competition uses a regional model that divides the world into six zones, with the aim of ensuring a diverse representation of authors and stories. The works are organized into four categories: Single photographs, Photographic reports, Long-term projects, and Open format, covering a wide range of approaches and techniques. The exhibition not only presents powerful images, but also prompts deep reflection on issues that affect us all.

    For an even more enriching experience, guided tours are offered that provide a detailed analysis of the works presented and the context in which they were created.     The Barcelona Christmas Festival will transform Plaça Catalunya into the epicentre of the performing arts between 20 and 30 December, with a programme that includes music, theatre, dance and circus. There will be 25 shows, 14 of which are premieres in the city, with a wide variety of proposals ranging from small pieces of visual theatre to a travelling show that will tour the different districts of the city. In the afternoons, dance and circus merge into a unique offer, while in the evenings, music will take centre stage with a varied selection of artists. A unique event for the whole family to enjoy, with performances by renowned Catalan and international companies.
