  Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Match

  At last, the most eagerly awaited competition of the year is here. October 12th marks the start of the America's Cup Match, a competition with more than 170 years of history where there is no second place, only one winner. Last year's Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand, will face off against the winner of the Challenger Selection Series in a 13-race match. Each regatta is a match race between the two teams. The winner of each regatta scores one point, the loser scores none. The first team to reach seven points will become the Defender of the 38th America's Cup. And Barcelona will be the ultimate witness to this milestone.

  Manifesta 15 Europe's Nomadic Biennial

  As its name suggests, the European Nomadic Biennial Manifesta 15 takes place every two years, and the city chosen for its 15th edition is Barcelona. All kinds of activities designed to rethink the relationship between culture and civil society will be held in Barcelona over nearly three months. Through innovative dynamics and public debates, the event will reflect on issues such as the challenges of globalization, the democratization of public life, the defense of public space against privatization, the need to balance social progress with environmental challenges, housing fragility, movements of people, capital and data, and economic and ecological crises.

  For this edition in Barcelona, spaces such as Les Tres Xemeneies and Casa Gomis will be open to the general public. The event will revolve around 3 thematic clusters: Balancing conflicts, Caring and taking care of ourselves and Imagining futures.

  For there to be a single, undisputed winner in the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup Match, the Louis Vuitton Cup must be held first. In 3 rounds of racing, Round Robin, Semi-final and Final, the challengers hoping to snatch the title from the defending champion, Emirates Team New Zealand, must compete against each other. This year, sailboats from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Italy, the United States and France are going head-to-head for a chance to challenge the Kiwi team for the throne.

  August 29 to September 11: Round Robins.
  September 14 to 23: Semi-Final.
  September 26 to October 7: Final.

  Roberto Iniesta, also known as Robe, began his solo career in 2015 and has cemented his success with albums such as Lo que aletea en nuestras cabezas and Mayéutica, with the latter earning him a gold record. The Extremaduran musician was the leader of the legendary Spanish rock band Extremoduro, with whom he released eleven albums from 1989 to 2013.
