  MIRA 2024 Digital Arts Festival Fira de Barcelona

  The Barcelona Digital Arts Festival is celebrating its 13th edition, with a larger capacity thanks to its new location at the Fira de Barcelona [Barcelona Trade Fair]. Audio-visual shows, live bands, large-format art installations, 360º projections, digital art gallery and DJ sessions will take place over two days. This year, the musical programme includes Kim Gordon, along with performances by other artists such as Snow Strippers, Oneohtrix Point, Lorenzo Senni, Craig Richards and many more.

  Alma Festival Jardins de Pedralbes

  Surrounded by the walls and the charming corners in Poble Espanyol, the Alma Festival remains firmly faithful to its eclectic program of great international stars as well as cult bands. In 2024 Alma Festival is welcoming artists such as Jamie Cullum, James Blunt, Vetusta Morla, Take That, Valeria Castro and Queens of the Stone Age. This year The Village opens its doors to anyone who wants to discover a wide range of cuisine while enjoying new musical proposals in the city on the stage Seat Mo.

  Festival La Mostra

  La Mostra is a small-format independent festival focused on avant-garde and experimental electronic music. The spotlight is on local talent but there are also performances by various artists and DJs. La Mostra festival holds a fair of exhibitors and continues throughout the year with a radio program in Podcast format and with additional programming in venues and clubs in the city, called the ExtraMostra.

  Manifesta 15 Europe's Nomadic Biennial

  As its name suggests, the European Nomadic Biennial Manifesta 15 takes place every two years, and the city chosen for its 15th edition is Barcelona. All kinds of activities designed to rethink the relationship between culture and civil society will be held in Barcelona over nearly three months. Through innovative dynamics and public debates, the event will reflect on issues such as the challenges of globalization, the democratization of public life, the defense of public space against privatization, the need to balance social progress with environmental challenges, housing fragility, movements of people, capital and data, and economic and ecological crises.

  For this edition in Barcelona, spaces such as Les Tres Xemeneies and Casa Gomis will be open to the general public. The event will revolve around 3 thematic clusters: Balancing conflicts, Caring and taking care of ourselves and Imagining futures.

  Festival Boombastic PortAventura World

  The enormous PortAventura World amusement park is hosting Boombastic, a full-blown music festival with three stages. In addition to a line-up of stars such as Saiko, Yandel Nick Nicole and Natos Y Waor among others, the festival includes admission to two theme parks and a water park, and offers the possibility of combining the ticket with a stay at the Hotel Caribe, which is becoming the Hotel Boombastic Caribe for the occasion.

  Sail IN Tour

  The Sail IN Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals focusing on nautical culture in Europe. This year, on the occasion of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup, Sail IN is organizing a three-day event in Barcelona to promote the passion and values of sailing. The event includes a selection of films and short films, as well as talks with prominent figures from the sailing world, all of which will focus on sailing and our relationship with the sea.

  In 2024, the Sail In Film Festival, is part of the Cultural Regatta, the programme of activities that accompanies the celebration of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup in Barcelona.

  Poblenou Wine Festival

  This year, on the occasion of the Louis Vuitton 37th America's Cup, the Poblenou Wine Festival is organizing a special edition as part of the Cultural Regatta activities. During the last weekend of September and every weekend in October, the neighborhood will be filled with food and wine offerings such as the Wine Bar, where visitors can discover and taste Catalan wines; the Gastro Area, with the best culinary offerings from local establishments; the Retail Area, with stalls from the stores of Poblenou; and the Picnic and Chill out Area, which will feature performances by DJ's and music bands. Definitely a great way to spend the weekend.

Coordinated by the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), the Race Village Festival will spotlight professionals in disciplines such as street art and music, and cultural expressions related to Barcelona's popular culture.
