One of the most highly awaited music festivals of the season, the Festival del Mil·lenni will be celebrating its 26th edition. Spread out over several months, the Festival program schedules a series of concerts in the city's best theaters and auditoriums to cover almost all musical genres: from pop to Flamenco, as well as classic, folk and jazz music. Each year prominent international artists touch down in Barcelona and this year will be no different. This year's Mil·lenni Festival will be hosting artists of the likes of Tindersticks, Jay-Jay Johanson, Anastacia, Carlos Nuñez and Hinds.

The Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival, focusing on classical music, returns. Organised by Barcelona Obertura, Gran Teatre del Liceu Opera House, Palau de la Música Catalana and L'Auditori, Barcelona Obertura Classic & Lyric gives you the opportunity to hear top performers sing live, including singers from Spain and abroad, at these three venues.This year the programme will also feature Ciutat de Clàssica, a free performances itinerary at different emblematic locations around the city such as Casa Batlló, Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya, Mies van der Rohe Pavilion, CASA SEAT, Fundació Miró, Fundació Antoni Tàpies and the Barcelona City Council's network of civic centers, which repeat the collaboration with the festival, and new venues such as Mirador Torre Glòries, Palau Güell, Can Deu civic center and the Mercè Rodoreda and García Márquez libraries.
Sónar is a festival of advanced music and multimedia art. But it's also much more than that: Sónar has become an international benchmark by developing what is essentially music to become an explosion of multimedia language, art and electronica, attracting fans eager for innovation from all over the world in the process.
Over three dates, Sónar by Day (Fira Montjuïc de Barcelona), Sónar by Night (Gran Via de L'Hospitalet) and different venues all over the city, will offer hundreds of activities, including concerts, DJ sessions, screenings, debates, conferences and an abundance of multimedia projects.

In 2024, L'Auditori, and the resident Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, is launching a new edition of the Mozart Summer Nights Festival, with the aim of exploring the vast output of this Salzburg genius. The concerts will take place during the last week on June and the first week of July and feature young soloists with promising careers.

The Barcelona jazz scene is once again the protagonist of the new edition of Jazz I Am, Barcelona International Jazz Meeting. This annual international meeting born in 2019 strengthens the link between music professionals through conferences, workshops and, of course, many jazz concerts.
The Festival B is a great showcase in Barcelona for the latest, most innovative musical trends. For two days, the Parc del Fòrum is hosting a series of concerts by bands and artists who are shaping the music of tomorrow, such as Sen Senra, La Zowi, Abhir and many others. An unmissable event for everyone who wants to discover the latest in alternative sounds.

La Mostra is a small-format independent festival focused on avant-garde and experimental electronic music. The spotlight is on local talent but there are also performances by various artists and DJs. La Mostra festival holds a fair of exhibitors and continues throughout the year with a radio program in Podcast format and with additional programming in venues and clubs in the city, called the ExtraMostra.
