Mercat de Poblenou
Originally known as the Mercat de la Unió, this market dates from 1889. It is situated in the district of Sant Martí, which was a separate village at the time. It originally specialised in the sale of livestock but has been refurbished several times since then. The latest refurbishment consisted of a total refit completed in 2005, which converted the building into a modern, state-of-the art amenity made of exposed brick, with an iron roof and ceramic columns.
How to get there: Metro L4-Poblenou | Bus 136, B20, B25.
Services: adapted for people with reduced mobility, online selling, delivery service, sustainable commerce, restaurant.
