Mercat de Provençals
Built in 1974 in the district of Sant Martí de Provençals, to the east of the city, its trading history can be traced back to Roman times when Sant Martí stood outside the city walls. The name Provençals comes from the Latin provincialis, the word used by the Romans to refer to the fields outside the city walls.
