Murals at the Nau Bostik

The walls of a former factory that manufactured glue for shoes provides the perfect backdrop for different artists to let their imaginations take flight. An American company from Massachusetts, which was founded in the late 19th century, opened its premises in Barcelona in 1923. It specialised in glues and adhesives. A century later, art and culture remain glued together, in a symbiotic relationship that provides a source of inspiration for many street artists. A seemingly endless stream of styles and projects in a self-managed creative space where cinema, art and theatre also have their place.

You'll find works by the Portuguese artist Daniela Guerreiro, who is inspired by a scene from Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel; an intense-blue genie emerging from a lamp imagined by Dish; or a skull coming to life by the Italian Riccardo Buonafede. Also featured are Kid Acne, Wedo and other interventions which are being constantly renewed.

This multi-faceted project in the neighbourhood of La Sagrera also hosts exhibitions, lectures and entertainments.
